Another great vid mate to all the Wasabi Cars fam get a membership and buy some merch smash the like and share the vids
I have a suggestion for you: why not a "wasabi word of the day"? A Japanese word, noun or verb, automotive related or not, for us to learn. A nice connection to your profession if I'm not mistaken 😉
Have a nice day!
What is the orange car at 13:56?
AE82 style GL SALOON/SE SALOONs are still driven in our country .. amazing cars
What a great event that looked! Kinda shocked to see a few unusual cars popping up this time. I feel the same with the generic collector cars. Skylines and supras. X platform is so rare either in Peru or the US that that's why i ended up with the cressida but i bet you feel like me with the common classics with those. They're just so common! What shocked me were the two white coronas, specially the one with the short bumper those were the ones they used on the Peruvian model and i always assumed the ones with the painted longer ones were japanese and nothing else, also that green datsun wagon next to the beetle, i know them as stanza. Amazing cars bulletproof J15 motor!!
It's like being over with Camaros and Mustangs, here in the USA.
Nice!
Opel omega /Vauxhall Cariton in UK form , no doubt woulda been a Holden down here
Awesome, so many cars I´ve never seen before again x3
Thanks for the video, I really enjoy the old K cars.
Another great video! So as far as distinguishing a two-seater z32 from a 2 + 2… Look for the fuel filler door. If the fuel filler door is ahead of the rear wheel going toward the front of the car it would be in two-seater car. All slicktop (without T-tops) and all factory convertibles two-seater platforms. There was also a two-seater t-top. If the fuel filler door is behind the rear wheel going toward the rear of the car it is a 2 + 2 which were all T-top cars.
There were twin turbo variants of all of these z32s excluding the convertible they were all non-turbo. But these variants we're only available in certain configurations in certain parts of the world. Japan basically got everything. In Europe the only configurations you could get were two plus two twin turbos. Australia only got two plus two non turbos. In the north America if you wanted a twin turbo it had to be a two-seater t-top car.
Also, back to when you mentioned the Chevrolet El Camino and the Ford version… The Ford version would have been the Ford Ranchero.
I've noticed that I've seen the lotus Carlton badged as both opel and Vauxhall depending on where the vehicle originated from. I believe the opel versions were originally sold in Germany and Vauxhall were sold throughout the rest of Europe. I'm not 100% sure on that but that's what I seem to remember reading one time.
Thank you❗
The Vauxhall carlton in the uk Lotus breathed on a few good money for a clean one
Couldn’t agree more about c110 240z etc we have all seen so many
Bring on the weird stuff that’s what I love.
5 days ago and I have only just found it
Good one hey 👍👍
I thought it was a lotus Carlton in England
Maybe he put Opel and the omega badge is German
It looks deep blue on the video dan there is no hint of green at all
I didn’t see was it left hand drive then we would know it was an Opel and not a Vauxhall
The Mitzi were certainly first gen Magna shape 👍👍👍
Mate had a absolute blast at the centre nats thanks. Will have to get you over here for one of the nats in something very wasabi in the future.
omega or carlton but obvs lotus carlton
𝐩𝓻Ỗ𝓂Ø𝓈M 🤘
The lotus and the mg looked so cool.
I clicked on the vid because I saw the Bellett in the thumb nail. I would like to see more Bellett sedans.
Love this one, Daniel.
Haha I swear to god, every time you have a Toyota 2000GT on screen, you breeze over it and dont even mention it!
Its like one of the coolest rarest Japanese cars around!
As an English man I can tell you the black motor is a Lotus Carlton in the mid 90s with it 3.6 Twin Turbo 389bhp Engine it was the fastest saloon car in the world. About £45,000 when new from 91 to 95 British government stopped GM making them. Many chasses on the motorways and the coppers couldn't catch armed robbers.
It's a right hooker it should have a vauxhall badge, all RHD cars were vauxhall Carlton's LHD were Opel omegas. All were originally Belgium built at the Opel plant as a RHD/LHD vauxhall carlton Opel omega GSi3000 . They were shipped to Hethel lotus plant engine out car ripped to bits and ended up with this monster , 340 Lotus Carlton's RHD and 650 Opel omega built. Not sure why only 1000ish were built but Regarding vauxhall version government got involved as they were so powerful and they were been stolen by armed robbers , car thief's and police could not catch them.
Yeh primera 😊 we got the gt in England ! Rare for us to get cooler versions of stuff … super cheap back in the early 2000s
