All your videos you make a point to ask for comments. But I get here and think the chance of him actually reading all these others and ever getting to mine is zero. But I would like you to make videos to talk about how the auto industry could be improved – top to bottom. How cars ought to be designed. How design ought to be done. How repairs and problems for users could be greatly reduced or eliminated. I know you have thought of it. Not just the US, but the whole world.

And another video, more like a project – take some old cars and change them. Take out what is not necessary or heavy, take out what always breaks. But the first part of doing that would be diagnosis. So maybe just take old and new cars and trucks and go over their design – as it affects maintenance and repair and reliability and cost. And as things are just poorly designed. Put red and yellow tags all over. Tell the manufacturers and designers directly, not just make off-hand remarks while you are working on them. Since you remember by doing, then maybe taking old and new cars apart completely might help. Then pile the bad parts somewhere and if there are any good ones, do that too. Ask people and companies to donate. Ask for help.

I had to model the whole of the worlds fleets (for clean air modeling and global climate change, alternative fuels and such). All the vehicles are too heavy, People driving thousands of pounds to drive to the store. And carrying about stuff that was designed heavy. Seats for a family, but single owner.

You have a really good sense of balance and practicality. The whole global auto industry needs a dusting off. I saw some things again on planned obsolescence. Some of it "Oh yeah that will probably break in a year or two, but I got a job to do. Not my fault". And some "Well, lets not put in something that never breaks, we will be out of a job"

I think that rim driven electric would be interesting. The transmission, axles, brakes are heavy. NOT a battery operated, but efficient easy to service generator and wiring. Maybe I am asking you to think for the whole industry, the whole world, into the future. If you try it, you probably can do it.

Every year my company gives out shirts with no pockets, I don't wear them either. I'm convinced company apparel is picked out by office drones that don't usually do anything all day and they intentionally chose shirts that annoy 90% of the other employees in the off chance they won't be given that job again.
