Oh shit Lextech! They are a great shop and recently did some excellent work on my 4runner.
need more content with these mechanics
Actually I never bother with tic tok ! But I have checked out you tube for a few videos including how to remove and replace a radio in my 17 wrangler
for compressing the caliper piston, I just use a c-clamp. The wrench idea sucks because it doesn't apply pressure to the center of the piston.
I just dont get why you cut out other answers like you have to make room for commercials or somethin
Yes, do research from 2-3 different sources! I recently foolishly believed a headlight restoration kit box that said “EASY, FAST, LIKE NEW!” Having doubt I watched the wrong You Tube video that also made it look “fast & easy & new.” It took me about 4 hours, 3 times the number of sanding disks that came in the “heavy duty” kit, and a hard lesson in the art form of wet-sanding clear plastic! I liked the results but now that I’m about to do my timing belt I’m committed to 4 detailed instructional videos from well respected channels.
Lol… the phone degree hack is fine. Phones sensor is prob more accurate than a wrench…. however not sure if it would work out for any other orientation
The dog bailed out early 😂
For the drive shaft guy smwho didn't chock his wheels. The parking brake would have been helpful too.
You can see on the coolant reservoir the clamps moved
I just wanted to let you guys know I will definitely be showing my dad that harness/wrench trick.
It irks me that ya’ll just let that “stuck tie rod” one slide. He flipped the nut and smashed it, now it damaged the inside of the knuckle. Thanks for not pointing that out!
“Watch YouTube videos and figure it out how to do it right” , “Google is the most important tool…” WHAAAAAT? Google&Youtube are not the answer for everything! The real answer is read the CAR MANUAL! How do you call yourselves “real mechanics” but give shit advices? Just because it works, doesn’t mean it’s right! DO IT RIGHT BY FOLLOWING THE MANUAL!!!!
Dude, if you are going to use anything for leverage, then just abuse the living sh*t out of your air pressure machine. It will always provide more, equal pressure and do the job better than grunt work.
Also, that "Mechanic hack 101" is not a good hack. He's using a tool that can easily cause damage to wire sleeves.
The cabling one is an old signal corp cabnle running trick they actually teach you at AIT as well as Army Mechanic AIT
The newer BMW's bodies are aluminum. Won't rust.
If youre taking off your tie rods youre going to replace them so hitting the threads doesn’t matter
Surprised no copyright claim for against the wind🙂
I've been told that putting some transmission fluid in your oil will help clean out your oil system. Though I can see how it could soften old seals and gaskets.
I have always used old break pads and a wrench to compress the pistons on breaks when doing a replacement. I thought that was normal until now…. feel strange knowing it wasn't more common. lol I've been living in the future cyberpunk music plays 😛
I would always work on my friends jeep liberty and just thr most simple sht would be a nightmare to work on. I would always yell at her "WHY DID YOU BUY THIS FKING THING!?!? NOTHING IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE I CANT EVEN GET THIS STUPID BELT ON BECAUSE THE TENSIONER IS CRAMMED INTO THE CORNER!!!!"
How much is the ridge wallet
tiktok is full of trash
I changed the starter on my 08 Patriot myself. Lemme tell ya, they reeeeeeally dont want you servicing your own vehicle. I had a hell of a time.
Oh wow the tide pods cleaned the outside of the reservoir as well
if someone doesn't know how to hold a bottle of oil or Atf question their advice.
ITS A BMW ……..WHO CARES ? ……OMG !!!!!LOL!!!!!I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY HATER OF BMW ON THE PLANET !!!!!THANKS GUYS!!!!
I had no clue Mark from blink-182 was into cars so much. 😅😂 Just found this channel so happy thank you.
The steering wheel jumping back and forth is kind of common with those vehicles once they are wore slap out. Honda Accord is what they are I think. Don’t get me wrong those cars last forever and are worth buying. They won’t do it while your driving down the road. If taken care of you can put a million miles on a late nineties early two thousands era accord. You will have to put some money in maintenance but the money you put into maintenance is way cheaper than a car payment.
