Wayne karma is a bitch…
Wayne’s true colors…terrible!
I looked up Wayne Carini’s estimated worth, the inter web states he’s worth 20 million. It might be a stretch, but I think he could help out. I don’t know the whole story so, I’ll shut up now. Another great story by Tuna.
Now I have zero respect for the network, and Mr Carini…. Bad move Wayne. Bad move. 👎
One of the greatest of all time
That's what most well-to-do people are, they'll use people to get what they want for free or little money, that's business !
Liked Roger better❤😊
I have to say never likes Wayne C. I saw a lot of episodes and was something on him that i dont like !!
Wayne came off as an arrogant shit. Never mentioning how much he paid for cars makes me think he took advantage of many, you see what they sold for at auction.
Wouldn’t trust the guy. You don’t get rich being the nice guy.
It's sad that my suspicions is Wayne Carini has been sadly accurate. Karma. I'm done.
I am a year older than Roger, and was a fan of CCC until Discovery was taken off free cable (local). I got a kick out of learning that Roger and I both had hearing loss and learning disabilities at a young age, and we both got through college and worked long after retirement age; sometimes for low wages or none at all. For some of us, work becomes its own reward.
I had no idea that Roger was 86! I'm 77 and still working quietly with classic cars, my own little collection now; but it keeps me busy – and being busy keeps me healthy too.
Having watched this video; I think Wayne Carini could (and should) have done more, a lot more, to keep Roger on and not let him fall on hard times. Particularly since Roger can probably forget more in 5 minutes than Carini will ever know!
terrible, Carini acts so nice but behind the scenes money is money and still money. I will never watch Carini again
Wayne is about Wayne…End of Story….
Shame on you Wayne. I used to admire you, nowI think you deserve your loss of admirers. Just about everyone I know in the car collecting agrees with me that you deserve your loss of fame.
Keep Talking about Wayne , WHAT about The TV Production Co. That had sponsers that made a lot of money on the show ? They should of taken care of Rogers Medical Issues ! ! Sounds Like The Show In General , Not just Wayne Were Running a Shady / Poor Operation ! ! !
just seen the video, it could have been my own, so alike are our history, remarkable, as the Irish say just enjoy the crack and enjoy yourself , so pleased to here you keep seeing daylight in the morning. One of many "Limey" admirers 👌✌✋
An injury sustained while at work..the employers would be mostly responsible in the UK, if certain procedures were not followed, and of course there would be no medical bills. I am more than surprised that Wayne with his lifetime respect for Roger did not pick up the tab. As a nation that sues others at the drop of a hat I am shocked that there was no litigation. There must be more to this story that has been revealed
I have always been a follower of Chasing Classic Cars for at least 10 years. I did sense a slight rudeness of Wyane when he dealt with Rodger. It seemed Wayne wanted to project he was the boss, but at the same time, Roger showed he was a very good mechanic and always fixed the unfixable.
I have always been interested in cars as a child since my father came home with a XK140 Jag when I was 10, my dad also bought new 1954 Studebaker Commander same type of car that Wayne won a award at Pebble Beach years later with) I also loved building things and became a construction manager building billion dollar oil and gas facilities all over the world but it seems unlike Wyane I always treated the men that worked with me with utmost respect many times writing letters of appreciation for their work and even recommending them for promotions and raises especially if they were like Roger, knowing alot and getting the job done and well done.
If what is true about what happened to Roger then I have lost a lot of respect for Wayne. In my years of construction I have met a few short men that had what I call the " little mans complex". short men that became bosses ( and usually not because of hard work or being smart) that would let another man know they were the boss especially a taller man. Me being 6' tall I have experienced it a few times myself.
Medicare kicks in at 65 and should have paid most of the tab.
Carini strikes me as a mean spirited man. Probably a Trump supporter!
I always thought Wayne was a snake, now that’s confirmed. I didn’t like the way he spoke to Roger on some shows & always suspected they weren’t friends. I liked Roger he was engaging & quite funny. His old school skills as a mechanic couldn’t be matched. A true professional at his job.
So many gullible people in the comments! There are laws that deal with workplace injuries, and part of that will be that an employer has to have employee liability insurance.
So for all you people that are saying Wayne should have paid his medical bills, he wouldn't have to as the insurance would.
I highly recommend applying some critical thinking and logic before blindly accepting what a YT video says. Sheesh.
