This Vinfast VF8 wasn't good car. In Vietnam, buyer had lot of problems. Turn off system, air conditioner not work, unstable system etc. Basically, VF5,VF7,VF9 are VF8' clone and VF e34' clone. Take care of ADAS, it's not production delivery to buyer

VinFast said they wanted to sell cars in America but NEVER said anything about beating Tesla. Stupid media always wants friction.
Too expensive, still not realistic. I just bought a brand new gas car for 23K barely burns fuel.
VINFAST has no chance. I checked out their car in Bay Area and it is no comparison to Tesla.
I only trust the Vietnamese with my nails.

I highly doubt that the American market will bite on buying an EV that starts at 40k or 55k from a foreign brand they’ve never heard of that don’t even come close to the aesthetics of Tesla, Polestar or even the Hyundai EVs

at the start of this i was hoping they would succeed… then i heard their business plan. leasing the battery and charging for miles…. yea… no thanks. especially if i'm already paying 40k for the vehicle. half the point of going electric is to save money, subscription models can go die in a ditch please.
