Did i hear this correctly? @3:08 "It's slightly longer Slightly wider but interestingly Slightly shorter."
It's longer and shorter?
Ugly front design 😶
The front looks like a 2015 Hyundai Tucson sport, Honda is expensive to buy and service with horrible after sales. Those engines sound terrible for a really cool car. Review the Suzuki Vitara Turbo auto and it will surprise you, really quick and gets 5.8 to 6.2 liters per 100km in heavy traffic driving, it accelerates so well for its size and priced well
Terrible fuel consumption considering the performance or lack thereof.
What is up with that panoramic roof shade. Is Honda incapable of making a motorised blind?
Honda is getting smarter everyday
CX30 anyday
Honda's are overpriced. Servicing isn't inexpensive either.
I'm stuck with the loudest whiner, Mazda CX-5 2.0 Active 🤦🏾
Why no comparison with VW Taigo reviewed last week?
Classic cliche of the go not matching the show. Such a pity for a brilliant looking vehicle
Agreed on the drivetrain! The hybrid or Turbo! Stunning interior. Great review as always!
Keep hearing HIV😁
6:58 Ciro you’ve just described how my grandfather drives 😂
7:23 now you’ve described how my grandmother drives 😂
The engine doesnt make sense for this size vehicle. If you have some passengers and groceries in the boot its gonna take 10 years to get up the hill. Looking at Hondas sales numbers peoe are not taking Honda serious. Why not fit a 1.5 turbo and keep the price the same. Maybe then I will visit a Honda dealership again.
Thanks for your review. I drove the HR-V for a week earlier this month in Australia. It's not bad (and I agree with your views about its compact and spacious design), but as an EV owner, I prefer the instant torque and punch of EVs over fossil fuel cars … even when driving in a relaxed style. 😄 It does feel laggy and noisy. I've owned a Honda Civic before, and I generally like the design of Hondas. But given the way forward, zero-emission vehicles (not hybrids) are the way to go.
Great review…here in Jamaica we have both the petrol and Hybrid. The hybrids are fully powered and they have the latest Honda sensing technology. Those have higher torque power than the petrol powered ones and are more responsive in overtaking or sport mode.
that 4 year old joke is so relatable and funny.
A 'boutique' SUV for Honda is really long overdue.
It's such a nice car but here in Australia it can only be sold as a 4 seater. The rear centre seat does not meet the design rules here. Deal breaker..
I mostly like beautiful designed vehicles ,this is fugly.
Great review Ciro,Obrigado.
Great review 👏, While on the topic of "efficiency and performance" Could you please also do one on New or used diesel performance or non performance cars?
Lower the suspension 25~30-mm and the looks are oké 😎 and, maybe Honda why not put the 2.0L Hybrid from the CR-V in this, as a RS version. Now, in Europe, we have the 1.5L Hybrid version.
This is beautiful and will obviously look brand new in 2045, but for the price, ill leave it for the ultra-rich.
Sorry not for me, it slowly and it futuristic. I love radical cars with power
I have a 2017 HRV 1.8 Executive and I absolutely love it! Overtaking sounds a crappy, but it moves! I was interested in the 2022 model, but maybe I should simply stick to my 1.8. Really great overall economy of 7.2l/100km over the last 5 years. Very, very practical, though and it handles a gravel road quite well.
I seriously think that Honda SA made a really bad mistake with the pricing of this vehicle. They should have rather taken the hit and lowered this car by at least R50k and bring in the 1.5L Turbo or at least the 2.0L for between R550k and R599k.
Hate that grille
You can never really, not consider, the Chinese card in this current climate.
Good review. Can you tow with it?
Overpriced underpowered nonsense. Honda is excellent but have really not listened to the consumer. Bunch of idiots
6:14 I have driven the hybrid version of this for 3 months now and the average per tank is 4,6 – 4,7 l/100 km. Motorway 5 – 5,5 l/100 km, city between 3,5 – 4 l/100 km. The hybrid absolutely loves slow traffic. The electric motor also gives it a 253 Nm add on.
Please maaan@@!!! Don't ever paint the front grill same colour as the Body!!! Geee! Contrast it always with Silver or Black! Red Grill!!??????
Does it support Apple CarPlay?
Great video thanks! What are your thoughts on the 2023 HRV model though?
Same two models offered in Morocco too and same prices give or take 1k USD
9 months later I still haven't seen even 1 on the road 😢
Any idea if we are getting the ZR-V? , Australia and New Zealand have recently got it.
