Tape the emergency release with black tape and people in the front seat won’t use it. Also, I added the self presenting handles from Hansshow.
FSD is awesome and the best price now.
I’m already making this rideshare move with a Chevy Bolt. Down the line i’ll probably purchase a Model 3 LR as a primary work car or a secondary pleasure car. Me and Dobson both have the same thought process about our cars being a tool (which it is) so anybody that cares about keeping their vehicle in pristine condition should probably shy away from this line of work.
very interesting
Great content!
My wife and I feel like pseudo uber drivers for our son and travel hockey! Over 15k miles in 5 months.
LFP batteries NEED to be charged to 100% at least weekly. They’re fine charging to 100% daily. You aren’t differentiating the very different types of batteries.
I do lyft in Uber too It's crazy I thought about this last year and my instance was right to get a Tesla 2021 last year because I knew gas prices was acting funny so I got me a Tesla I got it with 9,000 miles in to this day I already drove over 60,000 MI and so far only thing I had to do was change my tires and that's after 50,000 miles But I noticed a lot of drivers change to make of the tires if you have Michelin tires stick with Michelin tires they are one of the best
Oh yes
I dive 600 miles a day
Gas $140 a day
Oil change every other week
Need update
2019 kia niro plug in hybrid upside down 220,884 miles
I’m at 121k on my model 3
Great video, very informative. Looking forward to the follow ups.
Cool video and great analysis. Welcome to the Tesla club. The gas savings is 💯Getting my tires rotated next week, mobile service $65. Almost maintenance
if i will use tesla only for comfort or LUX rides only.thats expensive car to waist that much miles on 150$ A DAY .
Interested in the results.
Use FSD subscription for 2 months and request beta asap. Easy way to see if you find it worth it.
I want tesla plaid. I deserve this one.
400k miles on a Toyota- nuff said get a Toyota
Prius is still the best rideshare car.
Personally, waiting for the competition to catch up to see what they offer the tesla is not for me even if I could afford it 😂😂
Why not get a EV with free charging? I don’t get it.
Food delivery is better than uber lol
Big trips are all the money! What if he needs a charge with a customer in the car?
Keep us updated with the cost as well as things he comes across during the intervals.
great video ! put it to the test !
I'm looking forward to this series of follow up videos to track his longterm experience as a rideshare driver! Great video
I wonder how the longer charge time vs. filling the tank is going to affect him
The only problem about doing rideshare is if some drunk person slices your throat while you're driving down the freeway not sure if I'd be looking forward to doing this kind of job I don't know about you
Why wasn't any of the charging costs included in this video?
I just subscribed
😂😂
The miles he puts on his vehicles, wow! A hard worker right there. Definitely looking forward to the next year or so update from him. Very interested to see how his Tesla holds up to all those miles. Great job Kim!
12:40 How I respond to my mother talking on the phone 😂😂😂
Trivial tangent–independent dyno test results claimed over 1100 hp for Plaid S.
Any updates on his Tesla driving experience while doing Uber?
Tesla PLAID has 1,100hp when tested on a 4WD dyno 🤣🤣
Hi. I am a lyft driver in a rav4. I am interested in a Tesla. What model and year do you recommend for me? Where is the best place to buy from?
I love this
When is the next update from Dobson?
I love this! So great, he will have immediately recoup his gas costs. This will be a success story, and we will get to test the whole million mile battery ! ! !
I'm in a similar situation with this man. My work commute is 94 miles each way so 184 miles each day Monday to Thursday four 10 hour shifts. Since I got my new Model 3 long range in 3-10-2022 the money I save from paying gas and oil changes actually covers half of the tesla payment. A lot of haters try to say that I'm lying about the money I'm saving but haters going to hate and I know my bank account a lot more than the haters do.
