You didn't peel the off-white masking tape off of the other end of the velcro!!! You can see it very clearly! The velcro should be black and black!! Not black on one side and off-white on the other.

This isn't a Florida heat issue. This is a shity product issue. Any tape like adhesive will do that. Velcro sticky is awful.
