When you talked about brands and their BEV sales figures, it would have been helpful to clarify that the figures you referenced were only for the US; the picture in Europe is rather different. For example: Mercedes has multiple models, Stellantis has multiple models, etc.

This tilting screen situation seems kind of dumb. No one needs motors or a touchscreen to adjust the tilt you just want to grab the screen and move it towards you end of story.

Not really. The 1000 P/E ratio was a residue of the early investment stage when there was no profit, so no P/E ratio. Share price was a pure function of judgement about future growth. A longer term P/E of 50 to 70 would be very high, but may be justified by high growth rate.

While you are technically correct on VW ID4 sales drop and a 153 day inventory, your report is misleading. VW is holding back deliveries of pre-sold id4’s due to unresolved software issues. The data comes from Wards and they count sales as delivered cars, not when they are actually sold. ID4’s are more than sold out. Diess got the boot due to this long ongoing software issue. German cars have always been mechanically sound, but in electrical and computer not so much. The Germans even have a word for this phenomenon, FAHRVEGNUGEN.
Tesla did well in 2020 and early 2021 but not so great now, Tesla stock is volatile and has suffered several corrections along the way to its current high valuation. And if the stock reacts as it did during the 2020 stock split, waiting may not be the best decision for investors..What's the best strategy to make gains in this present market condition?My portfolio is still down by 20% and It scares the hell out of me

Interesting comment about Diess. I suspect that a buyout is in the cards. Elon would be chairman of the board, or whatever title he wants to be. After all they are his companies. In reality he could choose to be whatever he wants and do whatever he wants.

No GM stats on company EV%? Time to start putting global sales trends on a chart. Tesla will pass GM and Ford (converging sales with legacy RAPIDLY decreasing and Tesla increasing). Also Model Y is going to take the podium possibly in Q3 but for sure in Q4 as the global #1 seller.
So why is he involved in monkey brain abuse and mostly has to lie to talk all his products up..remember hyperloop and vegas dugout and 6 mill cost 24hr turnaround rockets ..all BS , i just found out he has no engineering qualifications and has never been diagnosed with aspergers ..what more do you need to think he is a terrible person , calling his kids letters ? rug pulling tesla shares ? , its endless !

The service side of tesla will continue to improve year on year as the whole infrastructure of the company synchronises. Your way of thinking; re PR, leads to the creation of little Fiefdoms which then spread like an infestation, and before you know it, another GM is born.
