On most tires there will be a dot indicating where the heavy spot is on the tire. When you mount the tire, it is a good idea to put the tire heavy spot 180 degrees opposite where the valve is. This will usually minimize the amount of wheel weights needed for balancing.
THAT ROTOR IS HISTORY, BUT WHAT EVER THE CUSTOMER WANTS I GUESS!!
I'm an amateur woodworker and watching you hit the 'sharp' side of your chisel with your hammer made my stomach hurt. LOL Totally not judging or anything, it's just been a while since I've commented on how much I enjoy your videos, I thought I'd give you a little hard time. 🙂 Much love from Denver!!!
@ 9:46, this vehicle's under body makes it a perfect candidate for your fluid film service. Could stretch the life of this car three more years.
Rotor doesn't look to good. Good video 👍
That's got to be the most easiest wheel bearing replacement ever
I like the sound of an impact, just one of those sounds. I mean I dont like idiots who overtighten lug nuts but you know, still a fun sound.
you nailed it like always and wisdom key # 8 Mrs O in vid is it only me n my buddies that come with wisdom keys ?
Eric your best work was marrying Mrs. O !
Thank you for your videos! Very informative and enjoyable to watch, much appreciated from Maine
WHAT HAPPENED WITH YOUR BIBS?
Complete car ist rusty…..🤔🤔🤔
Rear disc are in bad condition…..
I always learn something watching…. “Don’t do crack”. 😆
I love the grease spot you left on your cat's forehead!
Well up to your usual great vids Eric. Greetings from Irreland.
Erik, you should have 5 million subscribers. The quality of your content is too notch
So disappointing you didn't use brake cleaner ( – :
4:50 – You can use a screwdriver, chisel, CHAINSAW.. or whatever you got.. 😀
Day made! 🙂
You are the first mechanic I have seen hit on the sharp side of a chisel. I have been doing it for years w/no damage. Nice to see a really GOOD mechanic at work!!
Thank God, NOT an electrical problem.😃As mush as I can appreciate your diagnostic knowledge, it does get old.
Every time you put the camera underneath those New York cars, I can't believe how much rust is there.
I've seen better rotors.
Always nice to see Mrs. O.
When I worked at the UHaul Repair center outside Philly during my last couple of years in college, we used anti-seize in every single bolt that went back on the trucks.
In my 20+ years as a mechanic in California, almost never did we use any kind of anti-seize, other than for bolts going into aluminum. Rust simply wasn't that much of a problem unless you lived right along the coast. Even then, you had to be within about a mile or so of the ocean, from the border up through Ventura. Within that strip, though, rust was every bit as bad as anywhere in the Rust Belt, or Florida, where I was stationed in the Navy.
I can't believe you didn't change the rotor on that side. I bet the car could have used a brake job. Lol
Wow, YouTube is loading up the adds, interrupted three times on this rodeo. I guess my enjoyment factor is going the way of broadcast TV… unwatchable.
8:15 Eric! Sheep noises when using the Film, man.
great stuff thanks
Thanks for showing the tire and wheel work. Your machine looks quite a bit different than the old one I used back in the day. Neat! Nice to see your dedication to doing it right…prepped the surface before adhering the new wheel weights so they stick 👍
Awesome video, I learn something new with each one.
Thanks Eric a nice smooth job for you to handle, and was nice to see the love of your life as well, gee she looks after you there well done.
Stay Safe Stay Strong Mate 🦘🦘🦘🦘💖💖💖💖
That will leave a mark.🐈
Fluid film is the best. I usually get mine from Napa ( I know not a sponsor)
168k….my 2006 went for over 300K. I had it until 220K, and sold it. The new owners beat the daylights out of it, and put over 80K on it. Finally died from the transmission giving out. At that point just not worth spending that kind of money to get her back on the road.
Mrs. O should maybe do a cooking show focused on making a great lunch. Looks like South Main Auto eats very well.
Doesn’t seem like that car is gonna survive the need another brake job!
What is that crazy external spring on the caliper for ??????
You know your buddy charges 5$ a day for his repair videos. The other day I seen his channel so I clicked on it. I lost it when I seen what he was doing. Anyways nice video.
Nice dress Vanessa!
Nice job Eric!
I as well use a punch backwards sometimes
Is Fluid Film being used as the anti seize for the rotor?
MR O I think you might've forgot some bolts there the three from behind just checking
