Fantastic turnout for the club. I do like a good Jaguar C Type replica (recreation). They are manufactured in New Zealand too – Coventry Classics, based in Southland, NZ. Still way out of my price range tho'.
Great video 📹👍so many nice cars 🚗👍
Reminds me of my days stuck in traffic jams.
It would be a tough choice between the orange 2 door ascona or the viva hb with the alley cats
Hi vis vest with your youtube channel printed on it would be a sub getter. You would be surprised how many people dont bother you about filming either.
That TRIPLEX Transit must be a County 4×4 conversion, very rare and highly desirable. Fantastic vehicle. Super capable off road yet economical on a run in 2WD mode because of the taller gearing.
Wonderful variety. Nice to see and hear them arriving. Thanks Rick.
Oh good heavens this is just a cavalcade of British beauty.
The taxi looks like the one that was frequently used in the tv series Poirot.
Thanks for sharing your evening Rick and family, very enjoyable. 👍
The Triplex Transit looks like a Rally Car support vehicle.
Late to the party today, what a great idea "Anything Goes". Some nice cars there and cool to see.
fantastic vid rick, but i would be hard pushed to choose one
The Ford Escort is worse in the UK than it is in the United States.
Pretty biased against imports a house paint rover gets a mention but not class gear
Do you ever come across the 1950's Rootes Commer Cob vans? They seem to be non-existent now, although I'm sure some survived down under.
Thank you for sharing this. There is certainly something for everyone here.
Thumbs up.you liked the Thames 'pickup'then.lol.
Cheers mate,enjoyable vid.
Really enjoyable video. I think I'm with you in liking the Humber Hawk. Survivor cars are so very interesting to look at and as you said the smell of these untouched cars is so evocative. Thanks for posting Rick.

If there are any petrolheads that you know that might find this kind of thing interesting, please pass on one of these links, thanks!
car to take home the interceptor possably rarest there was the 5 axle scania truck ( 5 axles is comen in holland and even even southern ireland but id think theres maybe less than a dozen in the uk ,,, ford offerd a 4×4 tansit for firms such as the electric board and water boards who needed to get across country i drove one in mid 80s while working for a ford dealer and it needed a field to turn around
Love to see the old well used, even scruffy cars much more than those over restored arriving on a trailer! Cars should be used, that's what they were designed to do. I would back a move to say all entries should be driven to the show.
Another great car meet event. Thanks for a great overview. Bob
Great video love watching all your YouTube stuff how do you know where so many car show are on ??
The Thames pick up is cute as a button.
Wow what a fantastic turn-out for this evening meet. Thanks, as always, for the great coverage. Nice to see those beautiful pre war cars, the Wolseley and Austin Ruby.
A great interesting and varied show, thanks for showing us around all the cars.

The Malpas Yesteryear Festival is back on this autumn !
I like the way the Gulf Ford “GT40” copied the colours of the Ford tractor…
Another great vid thanks for showing my car 🙂
The europa is called a banks europa, they are made up the road from me.👍👍🇬🇧
1:00:54 that yellow Beetle there is my Dad’s Beetle, the man with the brown shirt and the boy next to him is me and my friend Sammy.
As a point of information, the Triumph 1500 switched from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive before it was called the Dolomite. My late father had a valencia blue 1300 front wheel drive in 1967 (JVC 389E) and then later he had a 1975 rear wheel drive delft blue 1500TC (JJF 812N) before they were called Dolomites. The front wheel drive ones had the sticking-out hub caps and wheels which were retained when they switched to rear wheel drive, as his had, but when they started the Dolomite the wheels went to more conventional ones with flat hub caps. As a 70-year-old (anorak) who was mechanicing in the 60s and 70s I still recall the details of a lot of these cars, and your videos bring back many memories, my only problem being that I keep saying things to myself like "they are the wrong rear lights for that year!"
Great Video…. Thanks.
My take home car and favourite has to be the SS Jaguar and a close second the C type Jaguar. Thank you for a great video Rick
Must be one of best classic car shows , Hope every one behaved themselves when leaving, unlike they did at Brands Hatch which has now had to be cancelled due to complaints I think a dough nut in. one of the trucks would possibly be noticed .Well done everyone!
Thank you. Great video. As usual. Peace be unto you.
Wow what a fantastic event really enjoyed that thanks 👍😊
" she's never lived untill she's had kebab fat running down her elbows" 🤣 who said calssic car owners were boring?.. Great show nice to see such a aclectic mix of cars

Always wanted a penant, or similar
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?…"
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea !"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"
I used to have a Ford Escort 1.3L mk2 1980V in Sable Brown Metallic like the T reg.
