Well I mean it normally depends on how old the car is if it's a collectible normally I just go for the cheapest thing within the last whenever that runs
3 years ago I bought my 04 Acura TL for 2800 and the next year a 06 Honda Pilot for my wife $3200!
Where in a recession rn just the definition has changed no joke
But it's starting to catch on no one's going to be able to hide it
Dudes are really selling a car with 170.000 miles I KNOW WHAT I HAVE KINDA CLOWNS 🤡 cars with 5 different owners dogged out pieces of shi nothing under 15k cash like the bro tax is real
You can’t even buy a shi box Miata in this economy
get a skateboard
Gotta 1983 delta 88 royale brougham 4d been in the fam for three generations with the mostly original parts with no problems just fixed the ac and it will probably outlive me
In 2020 I bought my 2017 camry for $16,250. I just sold it for $19,500
Thank you, and may your God Bless 🙏 you sir ! You saved my life.
Scotty I need a good reliable car in about a year to go to college could you give me some advice on a good brand to buy ?
I could not wait any longer so I bought a 2019 ram and payed too much…. that's life
Just look around and find those great deals, they are everywhere
i just bought used Toyota 😭
Look for a reliable car that will last me sometimes so been looking for anything under 60k miles. All of the used cars are just $5k under or the same price as the new one. My cousin bought a used RAV4 for $35k. And I was scolding them for being so stupid. "Why not buy a new one at the price?"
I don’t think we’ll see good deals on used cars anytime in the future. Car manufacturers are producing less cars every year. So there’s less cars being produced for an increasing population. Supply is drying up while demand is going up. Cash for clunkers was the end of bargain deals on used cars. And now with manufacturers producing less, used cars will almost hold their value as they will always be in demand. That’s wishful thinking Scotty.
A lot of millennials can’t stop themselves- new iPhone comes out they gotta have it which drives the pricing up and they don’t get it.
Thank you Scotty, Jesus loves you.
what if you dont have car?
My civic had catastrophic failure had no choice, but i got a 2013 civic with 86k for 9000 about 3k more than i thought it should be but yeah….
👍
At the end of the day it’s all about how you want to live your life. I value quality of life and would rather buy what I want when I want it and enjoy it than wait 3 years just to save 10k on a car
House prices about to tank too
Just sold my 2022 Prius to CarMax. They gave me 31 grand. Not sure what car to buy next. I’m between a 2015 convertible Chevy camaro or a 2012 Toyota Highlander
While I agree 100%, my 2002 Honda CRV was hit and totaled. It broke my heart! I normally buy cars used and in cash, but there is nothing (Toyota or Honda) available for less than 18k with less than 200k miles. So I had to somewhat overpay for a 2015 Rav4. It makes me sick to have a car payment.
Wait till first quarter of next year and you'll get deals!
Hey scotty. I live in Northern California and a couple weeks ago I received a new key fob for my door locks on my 1999 Nissan Sentra. I don't know how to program it into my car. So I took it to the Nissan dealer since my car is a Nissan. Those guys at that dealership wanted to charge me a little over $200 to program the key fob to my car. That blew me away. I felt like they were trying to rob me. The mechanic told me it would take him about 4 hours give or take to complete the job. What do you think Scotty?
Bad times when weak men lead
From a female perspective, I want to say thank you, I'm not good with pricing of vehicles and I'm in market to buy, so thank you for your heads up.
With cars it’s repos; and it is also the case with home foreclosures.
Some one hit my car
I don't want a new car/truck, and the truck I'm gonna buy ain't gonna get cheaper, it's a 97 ram 1500 guy wants $1500 for it, I can probably talk him down to $1000
I chose to spend $5k on a repair instead of buying a new or used car right now. It's ridiculous.
What about a new car?
But what about new drivers
Just wait a decade 🥴
What if you really need a car. My car was declared a total loss and I really need another car. I’ve been trying to find a good deal, but everything is expensive.
This is driving me crazy I've been trying to get a car within 5 model Years and the prices are like $40000 for like a 2016. I don't even think these cars were $40000 in 2016
Forbes said that car prices will go down in 2021, then beginning of 2022, now 2023. I think its a new normal now
I wanted to learn on a manual, best I could find was a $3k 14 year old Nissan.
World is insane
Time to buy my ninja 250
