Getting up to 60mph at 3sec is so much unreal with zero cc power house. Need not a super expensive many horses to get there. self guided, auto pilot and nothing will happen even you have closed your eyes for a while. It is cheap, it is disposable and it is recycleabled. Get used to it, and get ready to live with a robotic house helper soon.

Often the future is predicted based on current numbers (much like "peak oil" or betamax) but what most people don't account for is that – when there's money to be made, amazing fn things happen. As no one ever famously said, I have a solar home and charging my car is costing me a fortune.

Every piece environmental legislation ever introduced has resulting in offshoring not only the pollution but also the industry that produced it. Globally the environmental result is almost always worse than the original problem. We need environmental regulation as a matter of a healthy environment, but if we do not take the global impact into account when drafting such legislation then the result will always be lose-lose.
The regulating country loses productive employment and the global environment suffers, So think and SERIOUSLY consult your your industry before you legislate it offshore, and make sure you are not just exporting jobs and defiling someone else's back yard. Do this every time and the environment would actually improve.
