better avoid ALL EV cars, they are destroying the earth. Everything about EV cars on ecology is a lie, EV cars on the average weights 500 to 1000KG more as compared to a gasoline car of the same size, therefore it requires a lot more energy to run the car and requiring a lot more resources on earth to generate the electricity it requires. Its just a machine wasting energy on earth.

Another way to make automobile use carbon neutral would be to remove from the atmosphere carbon dioxide equivalent to that emitted by gas-powered automobiles. The cost of extracting 2.3 kilograms of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere with technology now at an advanced stage of development would be around 15 cents.

Electric cars are become an environmental disaster. A manufacturing disaster of highly toxic batteries, poisoning our invironment. They emitting dangerous chemical fumes while charging and discharging in cars, not to mention disposal of these toxic chemical laden batteries into our invironment, when there no longer needed. GREEN ENERGY ?? I don't think so ! Do your research and learn !

Very interesting omission for the Ionic 5 and I’d also agree that to an extent, the MG ZS EV LR. I’ve just taken delivery of the Kia SoulEV and I do feel it is a far better car than there MG, so perhaps slips in there on price and kit / range.
They missed out Hyundai from the last list as well. I bet whatcar have some sort of beef with them otherwise there is no chance ioniq 5 doesn’t feature

You call the 0-60 of the E-Tron weedy at 5.7 secs, yet in a review of a Volvo XC40 electric a few days ago you called the 4.8 secs 0-60 excessive?!!!!! You keep contradicting yourself in some reviews regarding ‘acceptable’ performance!
A few omissions here too in my opinion of better electric cars – Hyundai, MG to name a few…..

While I do appreciate your video, at the end of the day the sales volumes is what demonstrates consumer preference and right now Tesla holds that title despite being left off your list. The Toyota BZ4X should have been left off this list instead since everyone of them has been recalled with no fix in sight and Toyota is offering to buy them back from customers.

For all round price, range, running costs, driving dynamics, build quality, equipment levels and practicality it's hard to look past the Kia eNiro / Niro Electric. These cars stand head and shoulders above the rest.

I have the BMW IX 40 and the range is absolutely fine. 90% of my journeys are local and this summer I travelled across.the UK and had no issues with the range which averaged 220 miles. There are plenty of ultra fast chargers around which means you can comfortably drive 2.5 hours before stopping for a charge and a much needed coffee break 😀
