The top portion of the grill/headlights up to the hood look identical to Honda.
Not my cup of tea, but I give Toyota credit for being innovative in this segment. The market for full size sedans is practically non existent, but this could attract buyers back given it's SUV characteristics.
3 missing features: hood struts, rear ventilated seats, heads up display
No significant improvement over Camry and RAV4. This crown remind me the 2015 Venza. Make no sense!
Overall, just OK. For Toyota's flagship sedan it is a failure! Just 2 way lumbar support, no head-up display, no hood struts, no rear seat ventilation, 6 speed transmission, manually adjusted steering wheel, flat grey plastic trim around wheel wells.
I wonder why Toyota didn’t just save the money and refresh the Avalon with this exact Hybrid only powertrain?

The new Crown is for people who don’t want a SUV but need a SUV that looks and drives like a sedan and has a station wagon utility and more importantly, quality, affordability and longevity of a Toyota. There is no other car builder can come up with this formula except Toyota.

It seems to be a new SUV derived from Avalon platform. However, it's indeed disappointed to be badged with Crown which is absolutely destroy and corrupt the name of Crown. None of any Crown tradition, shadow and element can be reflected and found on the exterior and interior designs of this car. It would be better to use a new name rather than sticking to Crown.
