hi pete good luck on the knee replacement
Hello Pete I've been watching your video for years I noticed you didn't use the stud welder with slide hammer are they no good thank you so much for every video
Great technique ! Really good learning video. Been watching now for five years and still learning. You are by far the most informative and to the point teacher. Thank you. God Bless You .
I had some 2k hardener and reducer went to use it and it looks all empty wtf happen here could it be the cold months!? Was sealed up!
Shit hole China π .
About the fenders. IF they are original. Then they should have numbers stamped on top of them right π€?! And the original fender should be a little bit heavier.
What brand epoxy primer did you use?
Incredible how far you've taken this thing! I remember seeing this thing and like WOW!!!! Great job! They'd better appreciate it!!! God bless. I hope you heal quickly when they work on your knees!
God bless you Pete thank you for your lessons and even tho your knees hurt your still teaching us thank you for your dedication to us I know you donβt want to hear it but my 74 year old kind of overweight step mother had two knees done she was very skeptical but she has actually done really well your in my prayers but your tough πͺ I believe you got this πshe had a little pain as she was doing the physical therapy but that was the key just stick with it thank you π
You mentioned the bad knee get a bike advice a couple years ago and I took your advice. Me and my son ride 3 to 7 miles just about every day and you was 100% right on that one my friend. It has helped my knees more than anything else I have tried. It helps with the swelling, gives more flexibility and movement but best of all it's good quality time with my son. Thanks for that great advice pete.
On another note, you seem like you could use a hand around the shop. I could see someone moving from say, Indiana to Utah and hooking up with a guy to learn, help, and finish a ol muscle car project or two. I hope you have things all lined up for when you are limited working/ healing and I'm glad you two have each other to keep each other in line.
I know you don't do employees anymore. I'm just thinking about the long process of knees and healing man. God bless you brother. We will keep you and mini in our prayers.
What primer to use was a mystery to me before I started watching your vids. Thanks.
Do you have a video on the spray guns you use?
Cycling is easy on the knees. Road cyclist myself.
Good infoπ I learned a little somethin' , which is always good.
Stud puller is on my future buy list. Good luck on the knee fixes. I hope they do a good job and your recovery goes as well and as fast as it can goπ
Why don't you weld your quarter panel solid. Spot weld is not good if you had that car in Vermont it would bubble your putty but I would put Fibre glass putty on first because it is water proof then your putty with it welded solid and don't warp roof when you do it .that prevents Wooster from bubbling out .if you live where it rains and alot of humidity. It will bobble out in 6momthsto a year
Were are you located .
You make it look easy Pete.
Working on my 68 mustang these videos come in handy !
I am tackling a hood I just replaced on my 1956 Mercury. The hood has surface rust with some pitting. You mentioned the roof has it in this video. How do you tackle that? DA sand, Vinegar wash, Epoxy prime, sand then highbuild prime?
You dont need knee replacement Pete β¦.you need to go to the gym at least 3xs a week and work on exercising the muscles /ligaments that support the knees
Pete do you have any advice for someone who wants to restore a van in sections? I'm doing it myself , no way I could strip and prime it in one shot how do I take my time and do it in sections?
