Having just become a PetrolHeadonism ambassador I’m gutted for you. Different level, but I had a Range Rover I’d put a lot of hours in to and money, getting it mechanically and cosmetically how I wanted it….. only for it to suffer an engine bay fire and be written off ! So I do understand. But all said and done you all escaped ok. And every cloud has a silver lining…. Several cars later in now in my dream E60 M5 🙂 So keep smiling fella.

I will be telling God Thank you for protecting Both you and Tia from harm that afternoon. Yes, I am heartbroken that Viola Ophelia was taken from you, way too soon. You can love some cars, but Viola Ophelia is the one you fall in love with. Now, she bloody well, may be gone. The Fire Brigade was Johnny on the spot and did the best they could, no doubt. Chin-up Ciro. It is always in times of adversity that the true character of the man comes shining through.
Even if she got taken off the road you should buy her and use the body kit and wheels on a new Lamborghini

Ciro u was so lucky and made my heart sink to think ur poor daughter was in there also with u. So I can imagine all the thoughts in ur head for safety for u both and to see ur car in Flames, u was lucky and when u first posted up I was shocked. Bless the lambo. Such a lovely car. Absolutely heart breaking to see your pride and joy go out like that! The main positive is that nobody got hurt and you are both safe. I have watched your journey with this car and it has been amazing so far. This journey may not be over, it may have come to an end but there are always other journeys! Completely gutted when I saw your story on it I loved this Aventador loved the flames the kit the colour everything about it I really hope she returns it was a crazy experience to sit and Rev it and so upsetting to see it like this thankfully your all safe. And I hope viola makes a return 👊🏼
Oh gods what a horrible thing to have happen to your baby. I’m glad you have kept your priorities straight, human life (yours and your daughter’s) comes first but still this is your passion and to watch it burn up without being able to do anything sounds terrible.

Gutted for you mate – I hope the insurance don't pull a fast one and glad you declared everything. Back in the day when I kitted out my vauxhall, I declared EVERYTHING! even the stickers(ahem) lol. The insurance company at first bat refused to cover it after I sent photos – when I called to query – they said it was modified and that was the reason. I said, hang on a sec, check my policy, I have declared EVERYTHING, what are you on about? Anyway – yeh they knew they were trying it on so had to cover it. It's amazing how quickly they can switch over some random/minor indiscretion but as long as you cover your bases, you have grounds to take them to court if they don't play ball (doesn't sound like it will get to that based on what you said – your insurers are on it).
Dude….. that's heartbreaking she was a stunner! Remember one of my first builds spontaneously combusting at the petrol pump when i was 20 (many moons ago) your helpless nothing you can do but i remember the relief when the fire engine turned up. Hoping it's all payed out quickly and you can either get her back and kicking or try and replace. Like you i always declare my mods to my insurances its just not worth the risk.
This car is now on auction with IAA category B Break for parts only . It’s never going to be repaired
