Ray what magnetic lights do you use? I can't find one that can support its wieght and constantly is falling.
Here I sit all broken hearted,
Watched it all for brake clean part. It
never showed.
ghetto customers
Still entertaining nonetheless…😹
Im still here ……. 😉
You might not have done wheel alignment work in the Honda, but, you taught me how a wheel alignment was done!
I had to put a 1/2 inch drive 2 foot breaker bar on a 14mm Toyota drain plug to get it loose once 😂
When he drives up north, and wears a couple of tires out, he will regret not getting an alignment
What I like about your videos are its real meaning it actually being done in front of our eyes. And the customers complaints and problems.
Alot different than other mechanic vlogs. Appreciate your content.
Who the hell puts a oil drain plug that tight???
My rav had years of free maintenance..When i tried to remove oil canister i needed the handle from my floor jack, and I still spun on floor. I use a torque wrench and its always easy to remove. So what did they do??
If they have so many rules, why didn't they do the oil change themselves lol
You really need to get better customer communication staff. Or just talk to them yourself. The fact that that job couldn't be saved and so many of the other examples of the customer denying the work is kinda ridiculous
🤣🤣🤣
I just wanted to see an oil change done on the alignment rack
On my Vette, the tires and rims are asymmetrical…tire guys got the rotation right on the tires but mounted on the wrong rims!
Excellent explanation of caster
Come on man the click bait is getting old. You’re better than that
I betcha I KNOW where they are going in NH… My area!!! tourist Central
That looks like more than 27-31 ft pounds on that drain plug lol yep one i know off the top of my head
We should warn the fine Citizens of New Hamshire to watch out for this car when they are walking? Those RIMS have hit many curbs lol
My favorite part in every single one of these videos is when Ray goes, "bloo-loo-loo-loo-loo!"
Wait, did Ray say steel is softer than aluminum? Isn’t it the other way around?
So they don’t want the improperly installed tire to be fixed but they want a specific tire PSI that’s why I hate people.
You should start doing this shirtless for us thirsty bitches 😂
2nd pull on the wrench, I would have taken the keys back to the desk and thanked the customer for coming in.
I use a 3/8” drive ratchet that is as long as a breaker bar for oil changes. Either it’s practically zero effort, or if one of these appears and I don’t miss a beat. Seems overkill but I literally walked off the tool truck with it and the very next car was like this… on its first ever oil change.
That ratchet also works wonders on loctite heavy bolts with insufficient clearance for a right-angle impact wrench, and breaks stuff loose in general.
1/2" breaker bar and the appropriate 6 point socket and practically zero effort. Everything else just makes me cringe.
The po po caught you drivin' dirty? Lol
if you want to sound fancy you should say spring load geometry.
Hey Ray I just did my first oil change, and had so much fun I went and changed my spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body and mass air flow sensor. Don’t worry, I was careful to watch my fingies 👌
Tried to remove oil drain plug from a New rental jeep last serviced at a fire$tone dealer. Plug was so tight it twisted the oil pan off with it FAIL.
I used to go off on lube lube techs every time I saw them take a long handle Rachel to tighten a drain plug. 20-30ftlbs is all most civilian vehicles need, any more and you are asking for a drain pan job.
Pour
The tire pressure note was unusual. That is their little way of making sure you actually did the work? The over-tightened oil plug….Curbed hard enough to blow out the alignment. Its almost like they were trying to set you up for failure. They KNEW it needed an alignment then backed out on it. Refused work….still goes on road trip and something happens and guess who they blame? Video everything from the first time you walk up to the car…..do a quick walkaround on it. Sadly we live in a Cover-Your-Ass world these days.
When I shop for a used car the first thing I look at is wheels and tires. You can tell if the previous owner(s) took a good care of it or not.
Can someone tell me the song at 3:30? I remember it but I didn’t get enough info to figure it out
I've never heard more truth from someone online.
stop….no brake cleaner spray … so you did miss something..lol
That sucks when you put in the work to start the job only to be told you don't have to do it because the customer wants to take it somewhere else for someone else to do the job. Most times this will happen because the customer didn't know what was wrong with it but once you fill them in, they think they can get it done cheaper somewhere else which we know unless you do it yourself you are still going to pay commercial prices for the job especially when it comes to parts.
Low milage and that amount of curb damage or whatever to the wheels was where my head went instantly to why alignment seems off. Trying to parallel park every day and don't know how? Weird.
edit: I paused and wrote this comment and 9 and half seconds later Ray comments on what I wrote. I was going to delete the comment, but I'll leave it anyway.
Your boss really let you work on cars with no safety glasses?
Put a little bit of heat on it, 6-point socket and a long ratchet
I hate this car!!!
watching the intro… caught myself thinking back to how many times i've asked the other guys in the shop why some people think they need 100lb of torque on their oil drain plugs… lol
Oil drain plug torque same as wheel lug nut torque on this one.
(Don't do that!)
"I don't want to fix my car from drifting into oncoming traffic that would make sense!"
CORRECTION : STEEL IS STRONGER THAN ALUMINUM NOY THR OYHER WAY AROUND !!!
The oil life was at 70%, doesn’t make sense to change it that early!
You need more leverage!😂
I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali it has a cylinder 6 misfire I change the plugs wires and coils what should I do next
